City of Fairfield (641) 472-6169. You will need to go to their office at 118 S. Main to set up your water-sewer-trash-recycling account. Ask them to deliver your recycling can. Ask for a small can. Trash is picked up once every week (currently Tuesday) and recycling is picked up on the same day every other week.

You are a member of the North Campus Ridge HOA!
This HOA manages essential services, including lawn care, snow removal (shoveling and plowing), garage maintenance (including insurance and taxes), common area property taxes, as well as upkeep for common areas, streets, and fences. Please note that you are responsible for the property taxes of your home. Until all units are sold, the NCRHOA is run by the developer, Vastu Partners LLC. Martin Brett is the president.

Your monthly dues are currently $150 with a garage, or $120 without. You are welcome to pay in advance, but fees are due by the 1st of each month. You can set this up to be paid monthly by your bank, automatically generating a check to send to the NCRHOA mailbox by the 1st of each month. Most people find this helpful as the HOA does not send reminders or invoices. Your first payment after closing is due the first day of the month following closing.

NOTE: Homestead Credit- Ask your closing attorney about signing up for a homestead credit to save a little money on property taxes. You will need to go to the Assessor's office at the Jefferson County Courthouse at 51 W. Briggs.
